Dear Sixth Graders,
I apologize for not having the webpage updated by this morning (1/30/12). Last night as I was beginning to update it, I began having computer issues. I hope they resolve themselves! :)
Reminders:
Middle school is a stepping stone to high school, not one gigantic leap. You will be more challenged. You will be expected to be better organized and more responsible. So far many of you are confronting that challenge well. Some of you, though, need to step it up a bit. Our goal, as teachers, is to prepare you for high school. Your goal should be to complete your middle school years at St. Philip Neri with the best grades you can get. That will give you a good foundation for high school. The first semester is over, and I will reiterate this - please use your time wisely. You are fortunate enough to have study hall to organize yourselves, get some homework work done, or ask a teacher for help. Take advantage of this. Get into good habits of planning ahead. This will help you and save you lots of frustration throughout the remainder of your school years - here and elsewhere.
Have a great week!
Love,
Mrs. Shelley
Use your study hall time wisely, and remember that all the teachers are available during study hall for questions.
