You will learn how YOU are a part of history.

You will go to different websites to collect your information. Each page of THIS project gives you instructions on what to do once you get to the different sites.

This is the kind of stuff you'll see on each webpage of the project:

1. An explanation of what to do after you get to the research websites (sometimes with a screen shot of the website you'll be visiting). It will look something like this:

Your 1st assignment is to find out how old you
are in DAYS

After you click on the mouse image, below, you'll see this:
Ignore EVERYTHING except:
1. Type in the DAY OF THE MONTH you were born
2. Type in the MONTH you were born in
3. Type in the YEAR you were born
4. Click on Today
4. Click on 'Calculate duration'.

Then record your results BUT BE SURE TO RECORD TODAY'S DATE because tomorrow this info won't be accurate (you'll be a day older).

2. A picture of a mouse--You'll click on this mouse picture to go to a particular website. It will look like this:

To find out how many days since your birth click on the mouse.

3. Instructions to use your browser 'Back' button to return to the project after visiting a research website. It will look like this:

After you record this information in your handout, hit the Back button to return to our website.

4. A sound clip, related to the topic reseached in each website visited. Your teacher may ask you NOT to use this part of the project. If your teacher allows, click on the speaker image,wait a few moments for the file to download, you will hear information related to the topic. The sound clip sections will look like this:

Fun & Interesting stuff related to the topic researched:

5. Links to the other research pages of the project. After you complete one research page you should pick another from the list. It will look like this:
